The Great American Scream Machine arrived in the fall of 2019 and is in the shop this winter season for winter overhaul and restoration.

Built by PTC in 1973, The Great American Scream Machine has called Six Flags Over Georgia home for over 45 years. Located in Austell, Georgia, when The Great American Scream Machine opened it was the longest, tallest and fastest roller coaster in the world. It proudly stands at 105 feet tall with a drop of 89 feet. This classic out and back layout features 3,800 feet of track reaching speeds up to 57 MPH. The Great American Scream Machine features two PTCI trains comprised of 6 cars in the PTCI style of 2 seat articulating.
